West Virginia American Water has lifted the boil-water advisory for approximately 75 customers on 1st Avenue, 2nd Avenue, 3rd Street, 4th Street and Taylor Street in Fayetteville.
West Virginia American Water has issued boil-water advisory for approximately 225 customers in parts of Dotham, Mossy and Kingston in the company's New River system. The affected roads include W.Va. 612, Okey Patterson Road, Lick Fork Road, Long Branch Road, Little Fork Road, Milburn Road, Bishop Fork Road, Holly Street, Maple Street, Kingston Kincaid Road and Paint Creek Road. The advisory follows a power outage that caused a water storage tank to drain.
Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
