WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) - Wheeling Jesuit University's Appalachian Institute is getting ready to host several events on labor issues.
The first event will be a discussion focused on the struggle between worker justice and environmental justice and will be held Nov. 12.
On Nov. 19, the Appalachian Institute will host a discussion on "The Modern Day Union," featuring Dan Kane, international secretary-treasurer for the United Mine Workers of America.
The final event will be held Nov. 23. The discussion, titled "Is 'Right to Work' Wrong," will be led by historian Dr. Hal Gorby.
