Several hundred Frontier Communication customers in eastern Kanawha County were without service Tuesday morning.
Andy Malinoski, Frontier's communications director, said the outage affected about 767 customers in the region.
Malinoski said the outage was due to the company's "fiber being cut" when a vehicle knocked down one of the company's utility poles.
He said crews were expected to have the pole fixed by Tuesday afternoon.
