AT&T Wireless is having trouble processing 911 calls in northern Mason County, which is affecting residents' ability to report emergencies, officials say. AT&T Wireless is aware of the problem but does not have an estimated time of repair, according to a release from the Mason County Office of Emergency Services. The problem affects only AT&T Wireless customers. Mason County 911 is fully functioning.
Until the repairs are done, AT&T Wireless customers in Mason County are asked to use a land line or send a text message with the nature of the problem to report emergencies.
