TOUR DE VILLAGE BIKE SAFETY AND SAFETY RODEO: Noon to 4 p.m., Free. Beginning and ending at the 57th Street trailhead, on the riverside of MacCorkle Avenue, Kanawha City. Sponsored by The Kanawha City Community Association, Charleston Police Department and West Virginia Connecting Communities. Kids under the age of 12 will receive a free bike helmet while supplies last.

KANAWHA TRAIL CLUB HIKE: 1:30 p.m., Eleanor City Park, formerly Putnam County Park. Carpool from the parking lot at the corner of Ohio Avenue and Randolph Street, across from the post office. The hike is 3-4 miles on moderate trails.
