A man was shot in the chest in Dunbar Friday afternoon, dispatchers say.
A call came in a little after 4 p.m. notifying emergency dispatchers of shooting on 18th Street in Dunbar, Kanawha Metro 911 dispatchers said.
The unidentified shooting victim was taken to a nearby hospital, according to a dispatcher. There was little information available Friday evening.
Dispatchers said Dunbar police were investigating the shooting, but no information had been shared regarding the shooter.
