Julia Keller will speak at the monthly UC Builders Luncheon on Sept. 23 in the Erma Byrd Gallery.

She also worked for The Columbus Dispatch and The Ashland (Ky.) Daily Independent. She has written several books, including "Mr. Gatling's Terrible Marvel," a history of the Gatling gun; "Back Home," a young adult novel; and the Bell Elkins mystery series, set in fictional Acker's Gap, West Virginia.
