Yeager Airport's passenger terminal was briefly evacuated as fire and law enforcement vehicles and personnel converged at the scene during a Thursday morning fire drill "to test and practice our emergency response capabilities," according to Terry Sayre, the Charleston airport's executive director.
Passenger service was not interrupted by the drill, which began at 7:30 a.m.
