Boil-water advisory issued for Fort Hill area/Huntington boil-water lifted

West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 50 customers in the Fort Hill area of Charleston. The area is from 400 to 550 Sheridan Circle and 328 to 450 McKinley Avenue. The advisory follows a water main break.

Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.

West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for the blocks of Doulton Avenue, 17th Street and 11th Avenue in Huntington.
