CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Charleston police say they now have information about the type of car that hit and killed a pedestrian last month.

Police said Friday that a forensic analysis by the FBI has determined that the vehicle was a 2013 to 2015 Chevrolet Cruz. The color is champagne silver metallic, and police say the car would have had damage to the headlight and perhaps other body parts on the passenger side.

According to police, 42-year-old Carl Epling of St. Albans died when he was struck by a vehicle as he walked along U.S. 119 early on Sept. 10. The driver of the vehicle fled.
