SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Shepherd University's Presidential Search Committee is holding public forums with four candidates for the school's top job.
The Journal reports that a forum with Jeanne Marcum Gerlach will be held Tuesday afternoon. Gerlach is associate vice president of K-16 Initiatives and dean of the College of Education at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Darrell Parker spoke at the first forum on Sunday. Parker is the dean of the College of Business at Western Carolina University.
Forums with the other candidates are set for Nov. 1 and Nov. 3. The search committee hasn't yet released the names of the other two candidates due to a confidentiality agreement.
Former Shepherd President Suzanne Shipley left earlier this year to become president of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas.
