A single grandmother visited The Salvation Army looking for assistance after gaining custody of her 10-year-old grandson. Due to her limited fixed income, they had many financial needs. As a United Way funded agency, The Salvation Army was able to help her avoid electric termination, provide access to food, and supply necessary household items such as the purchase of her grandson's very own bed, something he had never had before. Thanks to the contributions of donors like you, it was a new beginning for this grandmother and grandson.
