GLEN JEAN, W.Va. (AP) - A welcome center is being built at the site of the Boy Scouts of America's National Jamboree in southern West Virginia.

A groundbreaking is set for Wednesday for the J.W. and Hazel Ruby West Virginia Welcome Center at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in Glen Jean. The center will serve as the reserve's main entrance and parking area.

The project is made possible by a gift from the Hazel Ruby McQuain Charitable Trust.

The reserve hosted about 30,000 Scouts and their leaders for the National Jamboree in 2013. The next one will be held in 2017. The reserve also will host the 2019 World Scout Jamboree.
