A Tri River Transit Authority driver died in a single-vehicle wreck in Wayne County on Monday evening.
Herbert Hooser had already dropped off all passengers from the vehicle when he wrecked on U.S. 52 at about 7 p.m., according to a news release from Carrie Jones, spokeswoman for the West Virginia Department of Transportation.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
The Tri River Transit Authority serves Boone, Lincoln, Logan and Wayne counties.
