The Kanawha City Community Choir, created to perform at the Kanawha City Community Association's Tribute to First Responders, will rehearse at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at Morris Memorial United Methodist Church. Christ Church United Methodist will host a panel discussion on bullying at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Panelists will be Kathy Burgess, retired Kanawha County Schools employee who focused on bullying in schools; Jeane Ann Herscher, Title IX coordinator for Kanawha County Schools; and Kathy Storage, Girl Scout Black Diamond Council. Julia Lee will moderate the event. The focus of the panel is how the church can be proactive in addressing bullying in the church and community. The panel is free and open to the public.
