The National Weather Service has removed a flash flood warning for southwestern Braxton County, including Frametown and Wilsie.
The warning was originally supposed to go until 7 p.m.
"The storm pretty much moved out of the area around a little after 4:15 p.m.," said Mike Kistener, a meteorologist with the weather service. "But the area received anywhere from 2 to 2.5 inches in that area in a fairly short period of time."
Braxton County dispatchers said at 6 p.m. that no damage from rain had been called in and that no one in the area had reported any flooding.
