Mobile Office visits scheduled for this weekend in Kanawha/Putnam counties

Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, in conjunction with the WV State Bar and West Virginia Legal Aid, announced flood relief mobile office visits this weekend in Kanawha and Pocahontas counties.

Consumer representatives from the Attorney General's Office will be available to answer questions about sham charities, storm-related home repair/cleanup scams and what to do if they encounter price gouging violations.

The mobile office visits will take place at the following times and locations:

Kanawha County

n Today: 1 to 5 p.m at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, Activity Building, 401 Church Road, Elkview with representatives from the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division, WV State Bar/Legal Aid of WV, Elk River Backpack Blessings, FEMA and volunteer groups.

n Sunday: 1 to 5 p.m. at Mount Tabor United Methodist Church Activity Building, 401 Church Road, Elkview with representatives from the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division, WV State Bar/Legal Aid of WV, Elk River Backpack Blessings, FEMA and volunteer groups.

Pocahontas County

n Today: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Linwood Community Library, 1 Snowshoe Drive, Snowshoe with representatives from the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division, WV State Bar/Legal Aid of WV.
