Bingo fundraiser
The Poca High School Color Guard will hold a bingo fundraiser at 6 p.m. Friday at the Nitro Moose Lodge. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Proceeds will go toward new uniforms and equipment. Cinema under the stars

Antique show and sale
The Pilot Club of Huntington will hold its 64th annual Antiques Show and Sale on Aug. 19-21 at the Big Sandy Superstore Conference Center in Huntington. Antiques, vintage modern finds and a wide variety of collectibles will be featured. Tickets are $6 at the door, with that ticket being good for all three days. Historic preservation
The West Virginia Division of Culture and History's proposed Annual Work Program for its 2016-2017 Historic Preservation Program is available for public review and comment. The work program describes the activities and programs of the State Historic Preservation Office to assist communities and residents in preserving the physical evidence of the state's history. The deadline for public comment is Aug. 31.
