The American Revolution had been over for nearly a century before West Virginia became a state, but that didn't stop a few Sons of the American Revolution (left to right: Bill Lester, Rick Greathouse, Bob Grumbling, Cary Campbell and Ed Cromley) from making an appearance at the West Virginia Day activities at the state Culture Center. The group had to clear their armaments with Sgt. Lanny Perdue of the Capitol police before getting inside.
