In Around West Virginia: the "Brunch Bill" to be considered in Greenbrier County, kids in Wayne County learn to cope with loss, West Virginia University students turn to counselors after the Orlando massacre, and more.

n Greenbrier County commissioners have agreed to place the "Brunch Bill," allowing Sunday morning alcohol sales, on the ballot, The Register-Herald reports. Commissioner Lowell Rose said that only one business, The Greenbrier and Sporting Club, would benefit. The newspaper also reports that Lewisburg is considering taking advantage of its home rule status to allow for Sunday morning alcohol sales.

n A Wayne County day camp helps kids who've recently lost a loved one learn coping skills, The Herald-Dispatch reports. Ashley Wilson, 21, was a camper in 2004 after her dad died. Now she volunteers at the camp. "It helped me understand that I wasn't alone," she said.

n Counselors at West Virginia University's Carruth Center have been more busy since the massacre at a gay nightclub in Orlando over the weekend, MetroNews reports. "I think people are trying to make sense of something that we can't make sense of," said Dr. T. Anne Hawkins, director of the WELLWVU Carruth Center for Psychological and Psychiatric Services. "I think that's very confusing. As individuals we do try to find meaning and make sense of tragedies." Hawkins recommended taking a break from around-the-clock coverage.

n Eric Shute, the man accused of shooting and killing three men in Morgan County on Monday, posted on social media that he hated authority, according to The Journal. Shute considered himself a sovereign citizen, meaning he did not recognize the government. Neighbors said he had rigged the property he lived on with Claymore mines. Shute allegedly used an assault rifle to kill Jack Douglas, 49, William Bartley, 53, and Travis Bartley, 24.

n Police say a Huntington man was arrested Wednesday in relation to the shooting of a man and pregnant woman at Marcum Terrace in Huntington on Monday. According to The Herald-Dispatch, Aaron Michael Spaulding, also known as "Tudor," 34, was arrested on outstanding warrants for malicious wounding and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. Dwanna Robinson, 29, and Daquann Marquiss Mikell, 20, were shot on Monday and taken to a hospital. Robinson's fetus was not injured.
