WHEELING, W.Va. (AP) - State and federal law enforcement officials and representatives from the schools are set to announce a prevention and educational initiative to combat drug abuse in Ohio County.
The U.S. attorney's office says Tuesday's announcement involves an innovative approach to blunt substance abuse.
Besides U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II, the initiative's official rollout will include the superintendent of Ohio County schools, the county sheriff and the chief of the Wheeling Police Department, among others.
