Gambling addiction
A new Gambling Addiction Support group meets at 6 p.m. each Monday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Room One, South Charleston. The group meeting is free, confidential and open to anyone who feels they may have a gambling problem. Attendees may bring a friend or family member for support as well. Housing authority
The Housing Authority of the South Charleston Board of Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the administrative offices located at 520 Goshorn St., South Charleston.
Card-making activity
The Rubberifics will host a card-making activity from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 839 Chestnut St., South Charleston. Inside/Out Card kits from Paper Wishes will be used. Participants may choose butterfly, flower or label die cuts to color, cover and decorate with coordinating Dazzles stickers. Bring ink pads, detail scissors, trimmer and adhesive. Rubberifics meet the third Tuesday of the month. A donation of $3 is asked to support the activities.
Coin club
Charleston Coin Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kanawha City Community Center, 3511 Venable Ave. S.E. A coin auction will be held. Call 304-727-4062 for information or visit http://charlestoncoinclub.org/.
International sorority
Charleston City Council of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority will have their annual Ms. Charleston Pageant at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Clendenin Advent Christian Church at 116 Elk River Road in Clendenin. Those who are to participate need to arrive 15 minutes early. Lily Crites and Beverly Morris will conduct the pageant. Refreshments to be served by the board.
