n A Wheeling tattoo studio is donating time and supplies to nonprofit organizations. For six hours, customers can come in and request a ribbon tattoo to represent one of various causes, according to WTRF.
n Paul Cassak, associate professor of physics in the Eberly College of Arts and Science at West Virginia University, was part of a team of researchers that performed the first ever physics experiment in a reconnection region, according to the State Journal. Reconnection is when magnetic fields break and reconnect.
n West Virginia Public Broadcasting talks to Senate Minority Leader Jeff Kessler about leaving the Legislature after 20 years, and his unsuccessful run for governor. "I gave it my best shot," Kessler said. "The message I was espousing is the truth."
n The Occupational Safety and Health Administration fined a Marion County construction company $46,400. According to MetroNews, an inspector said M&M Construction LLC, operating as Michael Jones Contracting, didn't provide proper protection from falls.
