Police have made four arrests related to a series of property crimes in Kanawha County.
During the last eight months, numerous burglaries and breaking and entering crimes have occurred in Kanawha County, according to a release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office. The release says that most were in the Elkview and Pinch areas, while about six were in Kanawha City near CAMC Memorial Hospital.
Numerous household items, including outdoor power equipment, tools, firearms and other items, were stolen. Stolen items were found at pawn shops, suspect residences, and a drug dealer's residence.
Four people have been tied to some of the incidents. According to the release, they broke in at night to out-buildings and garages.
Clifford "Sammy" Webb, Jr., 26, of Elkview, was arrested and has since pleaded guilty to four counts of breaking and entering and a drug charge.
Randy Scott Sanders, 22, of Charleston, was arrested and pleaded guilty to four counts of breaking and entering.
Misty Marie Fairchild, 19, of Charleston, was arrested Tuesday and charged with misdemeanor transferring and receiving stolen property.
Elizabeth A. Thompson, 26, of Elkview, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony transferring and receiving stolen property.
