The West Virginia Capitol Police say Kanawha Boulevard will be closed between Greenbrier Street and California Avenue on Thursday for a political event.
All lanes of Kanawha Boulevard next to the Capitol Complex will be closed from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The Rev. Franklin Graham, a CEO, evangelist and advocate for conservative social causes, will be holding a rally at noon as part of his "Decision America" tour. Thousands of people are expected to attend.
Piedmont Road, which runs north of the Capitol campus, will serve as a detour.
