The West Virginia Libertarian Party has a full slate of candidates running for statewide office, the group announced Friday.
David Moran is running for governor, Karl Kolenich for attorney general, John Buckley for secretary of state, Brent West for treasurer, Brent Ricketts for state auditor, and Buddy Guthrie for agriculture commissioner.
The candidates say they will work to decrease the size of state government and lower taxes.
The Libertarian Party will hold its nominating convention May 7 at the Days Inn and Conference Center in Flatwoods.
The party also plans to field candidates in congressional and state legislative races.
