Traffic light outage causes wreck, jams along Corridor G

Traffic light outages along Corridor G in Charleston caused traffic jams and at least one wreck Wednesday afternoon.

The outage has affected lights near Cantley Drive and the entrance and exit ramps to Interstate 64, Kanawha Metro 911 dispatchers said.

At least one wreck was reported and was cleared Wednesday, dispatchers said.

As of 4 p.m., Appalachian Power workers have not responded to the scene, though a dispatcher said workers were in transit.
