The Athens Water Dept. has issued a boil-water advisory for customers at JoHo Estates, Hidden Meadows, Sunny Meadows, Peperidge Apartments, Shadow Wood and Carl Wade Road. The advisory follows a water main break.
Beckley Water Company has issued a boil-water advisory for the Pine Hills Subdivision off Dry Hill Road. This includes Lee, Crystal and Phil avenues. The notice was issued following the loss of water pressure.
Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
Beckley Water Company has lifted a boil-water advisory issued for customers on Ringleben and Sheffler Streets in Beckley.
