The Kanawha Valley Railroad Association is holding its 11th Annual Train Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Clubhouse in Coonskin Park. The Handlan Chapter of the Brooks Bird Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the South Charleston Library. Doug Wood will discuss Ward Hollow, which is behind the old Dow ponds in South Charleston. Wood will lead a field trip the following Saturday, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Feb. 27 in Ward Hollow, an area usually restricted to the public. Those interested in birding are welcome to attend the meeting and outing. The Board will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday.
