BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) - Authorities say a second suspect is in custody following a recent shooting near a Beckley bar that killed one person.

The Register-Herald reports that Christopher Jones, 21, of Columbus, Ohio, was arrested Friday in Columbus. Beckley Police Detective Morgan Bragg says Jones will be returned to Raleigh County in coming the weeks.

Charmaine Kent, the other alleged shooter from the incident, is lodged at Southern Regional Jail.

Kent is charged with 10 counts of wanton endangerment, two counts of malicious wounding and one count of first-degree murder.

Jones faces the same charges, plus one of being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

Three people were shot when Kent and Jones allegedly opened fire on a crowd two weeks ago. One victim, Chante Shivers, died.
