Governor Earl Ray Tomblin has ordered flags to fly at half-staff at the state Capitol Complex and at state-owned facilities in Harrison County on Monday to honor former Del. Frank "Chunki" Angotti.

Angotti was a Harrison county commissioner and had previously served two terms in the House of Delegates, two terms on the Harrison County Commissioner and several years on Clarksburg's urban renewal authority and waterboard.

"Chunki was a true public servant who dedicated his life to serving the people of West Virginia and Harrison County," Tomblin said in a news release.

Angotti died Wednesday as the result of a heart attack suffered while he shoveled snow during the Jan. 23 snowstorm on Jan. 23.

Angotti also served on Harrison County Parks and Recreation, the Senior Citizen Board of Directors, the Benedum Airport Board of Directors and the Harrison County Development Authority, according to the media release.

Angotti had operated Chunki's Pizza and Subs for more than 40 years.

Services celebrating Angotti's life will be held Monday morning. Flags will be lowered until dusk.
