A Charleston man pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to possession with intent to distribute heroin.
Thomas Jarrell, 20, faces a maximum 20 years in prison when he's sentenced May 4 by U.S. District Judge Thomas Johnston.
Last October, Jarrell had heroin that he intended to sell at his Georges Creek residence in Malden, according to a news release from Acting U.S. Attorney Carol Casto's office. Agents with the Metropolitan Drug Enforcement Network Team seized the drugs during the execution of a search warrant at the home.
