Two men arrested Wednesday now face murder charges in connection with a missing person case dating back to 2010.
Freelin Vance, 44, of Verdunville in Logan County, and Anthony Baisden, 43, of Dingess in Mingo County, are accused of killing Willy Williams, 19, of Logan, said State Police First Sgt. K.S. Perdue.
Perdue said officers received a missing person complaint regarding Williams in fall of 2010, and had been investigating it as an unsolved murder.
"We've been following up on some leads and made two arrests today," he said.
Perdue said investigators weren't searching for more suspects and that officers believe the alleged killing was drug related.
He didn't release further details such as when Williams may have been killed, how he was killed or what the suspects' alleged motivations were.
Vance and Baisden were in Southwestern Regional Jail Wednesday evening.
