SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Buck firearms season has arrived in West Virginia.

The state Division of Natural Resources says the season has opened the Monday before Thanksgiving every year since 1965.

Paul R. Johansen, the division's wildlife resources chief, says hunters should enjoy a great deer season in 2015. He says many carry-over bucks should be available from last year, and hunters can harvest an additional buck with the purchase of the appropriate stamp.
