Alpha Theta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa will hold a business meeting at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church of Dunbar.
Trail club hike
Kanawha Trail Club will meet for a hike at 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Kanawha State Forest's Dunlop/Boundary/Polly Roads Loop. Carpool from the parking lot at the corner of Ohio and Randolph, across from the post office. The hike is 5 miles with mostly moderate climbs and descents, with one moderately long steep climb at the top of Dunlop.
International sorority
Preceptor Alpha chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday at the Taste of Asia. Diane Domaschko will conduct a short business meeting. Service this month is donations to Canaan United Methodist Church pantry.
Sorority meeting
Torchbearer Alpha Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday at Bob Evans, Jefferson Road. Phyllis Dean will host and give the program. Plans will be finalized for the Pledge Ritual Banquet.
Bird club
Angela Allison from the New River Gorge National Park will discuss Camp Brookside with the Handlan Chapter of the Brooks Bird Club at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the South Charleston Library. Camp Brookside was a summer camp for kids of Union Carbide employees on the New River, which the National Park Service is now restoring as a three-season overnight educational center. The board will meet at 6 p.m.
