BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) - A Glen Morgan man has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a hit-and-run death.

Austin Ray Redden had been charged with first-degree murder. The Register-Herald reports that Redden pleaded guilty to lesser charges of accessory to murder after the fact and unlawful wounding on Tuesday in Raleigh County Circuit Court.

Redden also agreed to testify against his brother, Willis Wilson of Princewick. Wilson is charged with first-degree murder.

Police say the brothers and the victim, 54-year-old Tommy Lambert of Besoco, were involved in an altercation on May 9. Witnesses told deputies that they saw a pickup truck intentionally swerve and hit Lambert in Besoco before fleeing.

A criminal complaint says Wilson was driving the truck and Redden was a passenger.
